M. R. Vivekananda Model School is run by a registered educational society named Shishu Nav Nirman Shiksha Samiti. Its President Sh. O. P. Babber (Founder Chairperson & Former Best MLA) and other members of the management firmly believe in the philosophy and teachings of Swami Vivekananda .

School Managment explores all possibilities to make MRV School, Dwarka a temple of learning in the true sense and a leading school of Delhi.

MRV school is committed to the pursuit of knowledge in an environment of faith. The main aim is to help each student to develop an all round personality by giving value based & skill based  education. All efforts are being made to form strong foundation and develop sense of responsibility in students through target oriented approach.

The school is recognized by D.O.E. NCT Delhi and affiliated by CBSE upto Senior secondary level has the streams viz science(Medical & Non-Medical), Commerce.

Sh. O.P.Babber founder chairperson MRV Group of school has been in public life for more than 50 years. He is known for his unimpeachable and unblemished record of integrity and probity as a member of Delhi Vidhan Sabha for the last 3 consecutive terms and was declared best M.L.A OF N.C.T Delhi in 2011. He has been deeply involved with public welfare activities particularly in the field of child education and health. He founded a trust in the name of Shishu Nav Nirman Shiksha Smiti and started a chain of schools with the brand name MRV 40 years ago. He founded this school as a link in the chain of schools in the year 2000. His philosophy of education is guided by the saint and philosopher Vivekananda after whom he named this school. He is instrumental in providing best facilities and infrastructure for the students and staff. Under his able guidance the school has made rapid strides and has grown into a Senior Secondary School and is progressing fast into an excellent institution which imparts value based education.

Our dedicated team of teachers put in their best efforts to provide right ambience for learning in both academics and co-curricular activities.

Every institution is known for its academic reputation. In this regard I would like to place on record that in this session 2013-14  our school topper PARUL SINGH   of class XII secured 96.2% in aggregate and in Class X, 15 students(out of 68) secured A1 grade in all 5 subjects. We expect even better results in the session 2014-15.

School management is very progressive. Their love for child education have made MRV school Dwarka an excellent institution where intellect is sharpened, imagination is kindled, dreams are nurtured and destinies are shaped.

  Mrs  Kusum Ahluwalia former Principal Hans Raj Model School  Punjabi Bagh, New Delhi, is Director of the School. She is a very  experienced ,knowledgeable and dynamic person.  .She has served the cause of education for more than 40 years. She has been associated with many apex bodies and  govt agencies working in the field of education..Her work has been appreciated and recognized by the state & National Govt., C.B.S.E and renowned N.G.O’s.

She is recipient of many awards  including State award, National award for teachers , best Principal award for implementation of Technology  by the then PRESIDENT of India Sh Abdul Kalam Ji. She has been preparing and presenting many presentations at conferences and seminars. She received letter of appreciation for her paper on ‘Impact of globalization on India  from the former Prime Minister of India Sh  I.K Gujral.

 Such  a multi-talented person is an asset for the school.
